Exciting projects which are currently underway include the Enterprise Development Toolkit which benefits Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SSME). This introduces and familiarises relevant parties with the legal concepts vital for the operation of a business. It empowers business owners to make sound decisions, and helps protect them against any possible legal pitfalls.

We are also proud to be developing an Enterprise Development Toolkit for small, black-owned law firms. The Attorney Toolkit compiles Strauss Daly’s many years of experience as Durban’s leading law firm and makes this knowledge available to fledgling firms.

Strauss Daly is also committed to its corporate social responsibility which is in line with the company’s social investment policy.

In line with the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Industry Charter and Codes of Good Practice applicable to it, Strauss Daly strives to be a good corporate citizen by continuing to:

  • give true expression to Transformation Laws of the Republic of South Africa;
  • set and implement Employment Equity Plans that seek to ensure demographic representivity;
  • set and implement Skills Development Plans that seek to uplift career parting and a feeder to the Employment Equity Plan;
  • assist the Government of the Republic of South Africa in its quest to deliver on the developmental goals to its Citizenry;
  • provide empowerment to PDIs through transformation driven procurement (SCM);
  • provide sustainable support to PDI enterprises.
