The Strauss Daly Academy has been established within the firm in order to educate our professional staff on a continuing basis.

The Academy is also being used extensively to hold workshops to transfer skills and to offer legal education to clients as well as other affected groups.

The Academy has recently held presentations pertaining to, inter alia, the new Companies Act, the National Credit Act, Competition Law, Cyber Law and the Consumer Protection Act. The Academy also utilises the expertise of other professions, for example accountants, in rendering presentations.

As a clear process on skills transfer, the Academy may, of its own accord or by invitation, hold workshops for clients’ employees and groups in which clients have an interest. In consultation with clients, skills transfer and development programmes could be developed so as to meet clients’ requirements.
