This department is headed nationally by Director David Botha. We believe that due to its specialisation, this department has requisite skills and knowledge to best serve your business. We apply the principle of “stage billing” and do not charge fees for correspondence, telephone calls, consultation with debtor and for submitting progress reports. The department is fully computerised and technology equipped to enable us to submit reports in any format you require.
The department has implemented quality control measures to ensure that your deadlines and turnaround times are punctually met. A summons is issued within 24 hours from receipt of your instruction, whereupon it is hand delivered to the relevant Sheriff for urgent service upon the defendant.
As stated above, our focus is on rehabilitation and recovery and it is for this reason that we make contact with the debtor whilst litigation is in process to negotiate an acceptable arrangement for you, as the client, thereby minimising legal costs.
Our turnaround time from date of instruction to the securing of a sale date is a maximum of 60 working days. However, should this not be the case you will be advised of the reason for the delay. As a different approach we are also able to manage your debtors from the early pre-legal collection phase right through to the legal collection phase. In this approach we utilise a number of steps including data washing, call centre facilities, internet based attorney, letter and report field agents who attend to the delivery of letters etc., and finally legal action as a last resort. The costs of this process can only be finalised once we have had an opportunity of meeting with you to (a) agree on the strategy you require (b) assess your IT capability and (c) ascertain the value of handovers, age of accounts, etc.
